Thats pretty much what I meant in the following post. If your generally at home, or at work,. you coul;d leave the charger there, as long as it charged at a rate higher than usage consumed. It will be useful for some. Hardky a game changer though, although it will be marketed as just that.
Its a bit like wifi. It works but you will ALWAYS want a cable if you have that option or can make it so.

I agree, except that there will be some select cases for which it will be useful.
For example, presuming you can use the phone while charging, as you can when it is plugged
in, then having such a wireless charger at your desk while you work would mean that at the end
of the day, you can leave work with a fully-charged phone instead of one at 28%.
