Which is frustrating because they will not allow me to just pay cash for an unlocked iPhone. All because they discriminate against my carrier. LOL oh well it's not like the iPhone hasn't been locked to different carriers before. The reason why I went to AT&T years ago was because they had the iPhone I stayed with them until I left the country and now I'm with a cheapo MVNO

The phone from Apple is unlocked, but has to be activated with a Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, or T-Mobile.
