The upgrade process does take time. Both the downloading and the installation took multiples of ten minutes on my iPad Air 2, on my older devices considerably more.
Do allow for that...
(I think I had some minor matter with the upgrade on two of my six iOS devices, then two matters with apps after upgrading. All was soon back to normal.)

I did the upgrade to IOS9, and now I cannot open the IPAD. It displays a white screen with a swipe to upgrade written on the bottom of the screen with an arrow. Nothing I do will open the IPAD. I have swiped with my finger, a rubber pen etc . Will not open. Help.
