Streaming could be the way to go if everything were available, and if it were all uncompressed.
But everything will never be available, and it seems unlikely that all of what there is will ever be uncompressed.
IOW, streaming is nice for background music, but no substitute for CDs and LPs and HD downloads, because all are uncompressed.
True. But for me, with a long established music collection already, where is the value of music streaming? Yes, handy to have, if its free. I don't want to pay a monthly fee when I probably wont get any new music or will rarely or occasionally will. Its good for young uns like my daughter who don't have a music collection.

FYI there are many more genre options than just a heavy metal or rap. In fact if I remember correctly there's over 10 different genres to choose from~KLM\\ "Antisocial behavior is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformists" ~Nikola Tesla //don't know how to obtain music onto my phone so I can play offline. Yes, I could ask here, I could fumble through the menus and work it out, I could Google it, but at the end of the day I don't need to. I don't want to hear and discover the latest rap sh*t, head banger music, as I am entrenched in my music that I already have.
