There's just one problem with my Surface Pro 3: it runs Windows.  ;-)

So I'd love to have an OS X equivalent.

Surface is quit costly. If the iPad pro was a screenless MB and had iOS on it too, it will be heavier and the cost would be high, as you essentially have an Intel MB and an iPad, all that saves is the cost of the MB and the iPad, less one screen.

Sure, but if they were to do a crossover, that would be cool.  Microsoft went first here, but that need not hold Apple back.
