I used to live in Windows Explorer. Not so much Finder as its ghastly. iOS has a file system, users just need to stop going to Finder with the file tree and hierarchy and go to all their videos in one app, all there Pages docs in one app, all their books, in one app. Allow apps that can use the same files to share between. There is the file system. If computers started out as app based, we would baulk at having to use a big mess of files in Finder. Why have a mess of files where you can have them organised in each app that uses them?

For me no filesystem is one of the bonuses of iOS
