My provider Virgin Media has been having email problems lately, plus my iPad
is having one of it's regular problems where I have to mess round with my
accounts. Lucky I have three email addys I can use.
I've noticed that the main email program here uses imap to send and receive,
but on my laptop it's pop3 (same email address). What's the difference and
why? I see I can create an email account for outlook.com which my laptop
uses. If i do that would it automatically download any emails already on my
ipad and would having two active email programs mess things up even more?
