Now granted I haven't been looking diligently I haven't seen any notifications at the few places I frequent that it's accepted (but I'm either at work or sleeping so basically I'm a hermit) so I dunno. Unlike Jim I don't do McDonald's, except in rare cases of someone else buying, so I dunno. Both my wallet and my iPhone reside in my pocket 99% of the time. If i remember correctly its illegal to not have government issued ID on you so I always carry my wallet. So. I dunno. But I'm excited to try apple pay.

The only store near me that accepts Apple Pay is Walgreens. Non of the restaurants use it. I do most of my shopping online. I have never seen Apple Pay as an option except the Apple Store.Terrylatest photos at http://www.flickr.com/terrypogueI really like using Apple Pay, but there are only a few merchants who are accepting it in my community. I'm expecting that will change later in the year when the credit card rules change and merchants are forced to upgrade their terminals. I've used it at the online Apple store & it's fast as lightning!PatOn Jun 4, 2015, at 2:02 PM, Kris Murray krismurray@gmail.com [iPad] <iPad@yahoogroups.com> wrote:I'm sure I'll test out my apple pay when I get it but I don't see myself using it that much. But then again except for online shopping (which is the majority of my shopping) I use cash. Twice a month I do hot the grocery store and so ill try it out at Safeway if I can and maybe use it there just to say I did and see how it works. I do hope it's faster than using the bank card then I'll use it more. Well. At least at the Safeway grocery store.Thoughts? About the article that is or about your apple pay experience or anything else along those lines?
