Re: [iPad] Why Is Almost No One Using Apple Pay? - Forbes

Well. What's gonna happen is the phone aka middleman will be cut out and we'll simply use biometrics or cash. Personally I prefer cash for spending money. . I get my check deposited into my account. I go to the grocery store and pay bills, save the rest except for cash. Can I afford a beer? I dunno, lemme see how much cash I have bcuz the rest is accounted for. It costs me money to have money in the bank. I'm not a fan of the $60 or $120 a year it costs me to have a debit card. Then you factor in fees. It's stupid expensive to have money in a bank. I guess it's insurance. But so far it's not mandatory. The minute it becomes mandatory well I hope I'm not living where that happens.

Just my two cents. Less Apple pay and visa fees it's prolly 1.9 cents.

In time to come, cards will go. Mobile phone pay will be ubiquitous. My wallet has little purpose except to carry my ATM and credit card and  drivers licence
