I did everything you mentioned until the factory reset. See other message. I slept in this morning and on my day off didn't have enough time to get to these very steps. Thank you very much for the steps that little button I knew was somewhere thanks!

No go? Reset the Extreme as follows:

To perform a factory default reset on the AirPort Extreme:
  1. First remove power from the Extreme.
  2. Using a paperclip or similar object, depress the reset button, and while still depressed plug the Extreme into power.
  3. Keep the reset button depressed until the status light on the Extreme starts flashing rapidly, and then, release the reset button.

Setup Extreme from as new. It will connect to your computer or iPhone on Airport Utility, so you can set it up. If it cannot, I guess its borked. If you had another wifi router to borrow that would confirm the issue isn't from the model communicating TO the Extreme. Swapping out ethernet cables is an option too.
