Okay. So. If I'm correct. The issue at hand is that while watching video, the program playing the video will unexpectedly quit and the user will find themselves, rather abruptly, back at the home screen like the iPad had just been restarted?
If the answer is yes then in what program is the video playing when this behavior happens? Is it YouTube or is it Safari? If it's safari then go into setting and into safari.
Choose clear history.
Turn report back.

he likes to read the news and look up sports scores..he doesnt do alot but he says when hes watching a video it will cut out or just go back to the beginning screen with all the icons on it...I dont see where you can empty the cache or the history.
