I bought my iPhone 6 on the NEXT plan and will be paying it off within the next 30 days because I want to keep it, sell the iPhone 5 that I use for an iPod and order the next model this fall without any eligibility hassle. I'll try to remember to report back here as to whether my monthly service fee remains at the current level.

Now that they've dropped their original "pay-as-you-go" plan, I hope they'll reduce monthly cost for service after the Next 18-month "you own it" period is over. I guess I'll find out when my 2-year contract is over in October, unless someone on list knows the details?

All that really matters is that it's the 2015 model and that I can use it in Latin America.
