Yup. And that's why anecdotal evidence hasn't evidence it's more like an experience ;)
But. I'm happy to have more battery life in my iPhone 5. And I think my battery life went down in my iPad mini cuz I turned my screen up to 60% from 30% brightness. Oops.

Hmmm, I haven't noticed any slowness or battery difference in my iPad mini since upgrading to iOS 8. There are a couple noticeable things that aren't working well but that's due to beta testing the new iOS.
\\ /\( ) Alice.( ). lwr32@mac.comiOS 8.2 doubled my battery life on my iPhone 5 from one hour to almost two and seems to have dropped the battery life on my iPad mini. Ugh.~KLM\\ "Antisocial behavior is a trait of intelligence in a world full of conformists" ~Nikola Tesla //I have an iPad 2 (WiFi only) with iOS 6 and a 3rd generation iPad (cellular model) with iOS 8 and have noticed no difference in speed or battery life. Did you actually run speed tests before and after the upgrade? Maybe it just seems slower. I personally prefer iOS 6 to iOS 8.PeteP.S. The reason I bought the newer iPad (cellular model) is because I wanted to use the free hotspot feature to replace my older MiFi hotspot device.I recently upgraded the system on my iPad2 from an old 6.?? to the newest 8.?? and found that everything I access has a much slower uploading from the site (any site and app). Does anyone else have the situation? Any fixes?
Thanks.
