Post-Tidal, I can no longer be satisfied with less than uncompressed, but thanks for the thoughts. I imagine that before too many years have passed - five or ten? - we'll start seeing Spotify, Pandora, Rhapsody, and Apple all doing uncompressed. Maybe someone will even bite the hi-def bullet.
You might want to also give a listen to Rhapsody. It lets you play full albums by artists of your choice & also create radio stations that are then similar to Pandora & iTunes Radio. I don't know about their compression, but I think that they offer a free trial.

Spotify sounds good, then. Unfortunately, so far as I know, they still compress everything drastically. The problem I have with iTunes Radio is that I put in an artist, choose the artist, play the artist and it's not only the chosen artist being played but what iTunes considered similar. Spotify lets you listen to full albums of the artist I search for. It also lists what Spotify thinks are similar artists to the one I choose.
