Guess I'm showing my age then. Or the amount of decades I've been on the internet. Regardless, I'm glad it got sorted out. I've used the in house emoji before but if I remember correctly only apple people could see them do I stopped, and now just use standard emoticons and acronyms, admittedly probably too much. ;-)

True, but real emoticons are merely text characters typed next to each
other so as to represent something else. As such none "come standard"
and are downloadable since they are typed by each individual.

So I figured she was really asking about something else, the cute
pictures that accompany many messages, which on iDevices equates to Emoji.
