Using this method in Windows is handy to pull photos off for backup. Copy from iPhone to computer. How can I do that on a Mac? Create a one off album in iPhoto, and import all to that?
Do I have Finder access to these photos or only in iPhoto?
Apologies for beinga noob, I have never used a management software for my photos

1) connect iPad to your PC/Mac. The iPad will show up as a device much
like a hard drive. Drag and drop.Hmm. Makes sense. I took the white cable that goes into the iPad charger, pulled itout of the charger, inserted the small end into the iPad charger port, and then theUSB side into my computer, an iMac 10.7.5.I head the little "ding" when connection was made, and then a pop-up warned methat the contents of the iPad would be accessible from the computer. Clicked OK.However, I couldn't find the iPad icon on the desktop, or under utilities, orapplications, or the HD, or anywhere else. And when I disconnected it, there wasno warning that it was disconnected improperly.Where does it hide?JimboS Cal
