Hmm. Makes sense. I took the white cable that goes into the iPad charger, pulled it
out of the charger, inserted the small end into the iPad charger port, and then the
USB side into my computer, an iMac 10.7.5.
I head the little "ding" when connection was made, and then a pop-up warned me
that the contents of the iPad would be accessible from the computer. Clicked OK.
However, I couldn't find the iPad icon on the desktop, or under utilities, or
applications, or the HD, or anywhere else. And when I disconnected it, there was
no warning that it was disconnected improperly.
Where does it hide?
