What is the affect of Siri on battery drain?
I'm not here to report a problem. I'm just asking, out of curiousity. Yes, I've seen all the threads, and read the obligatory items on optimizing settings for power saving. Heck, I'm a "battery miser". I have no problem with premature battery drain. In fact, I'm a "light" user of my iPhone 4s, and have no problem getting an unusually long time out of a charge! Perfectly satisfactory.
However, I do *not* have Siri turned on (fear of battery impact). I was thinking of "toying with" Siri. But I haven't found, anywhere, a discussion of the affect of Siri on battery drain. Before I bother with an experiment, may I find, read, and benefit from the experiences of others in such a pursuit? Does Siri exact a heavy toll on the iPhone battery?
You won't find anything definitive regarding Siri's affect on battery... everyone uses their phone very differently and everyone uses Siri differently.
No reason to fear using Siri... turn it on and see how it works for you and how it affects your battery life.
