Re: [iPad] nytimes article on tim cook

The next big thing has already been invented? Didn't we hear this in 2000? And 2005? And 2007? Didn't apple come out with a big thing that people poo-pooed previous to those dates?(my dates my be off. I'm referring to iPod iPhone and  iPad) maybe I should replace apple with Steve jobs (RIP). So maybe they won't.

Read this. <http://marshallbrain.com/manna1.htm> and follow through the right short chapters. We are more than half way there if not more. Google car now has no steering wheel. Most everything can be automated. This program has prolly already been written. The "haves" already want you to "have not" less than you already have. Sure. It's a sci fi story. But much of it has airway shoehorned on the oh emm gee depressing side of the story. What we should hope for is the the Australia part. Read it and think. Then look around you. The gap is widening.

Lost heart and soul? Not al all.

Yes it will be hard for Apple to create the next big thing cos its probably already been invented. Smart devices are mature, what counts now is expanding the use, not a new product.

I fo too. I will hang in there and keep my job as long as I can, at the least, until I can get my 10-year award, but it seems the stores are becoming more 'Corporate'. It was always a business, but the vibe is becoming a bit more 'Mainstream'. It's changed a little bit in the nine-+ years I've been there.
