Enhancing, to me, is not the same as compensating. I think each is in the eye if the beholder. If we were talking about my ever decreasing eyesight I could say that glasses are compensating for my sight disadvantages. Or I could say it's enhancing my poor eyesight. Meh. It's hard to say which it is, honestly.

I've thought of this, but hate having to buy something to compensate for disadvantages of a product, especially when I've been having difficulty learning the thing. :-(
