Re: [iPad] The most severe disadvantage of my iPad!

Either way I can't place the cursor for editing with any degree of precision, especially within a word. I with the KBD had arrow keys so I could move around once I've placed the cursor somewhere.

I use the screen alone (i.e., not the screen keyboard) for a large part of my interaction with my iPad.

I use the screen keyboard for a significant part.

And I use the Belkin QODE Ultimate Keyboard Case (aluminum, protective) for some of my interactions.

Since the keyboard case is on the iPad permanently, how do I decide when to use which keyboard?

If I am sitting at a table, the keyboard case not only props the screen up at a convenient angle, it also makes essentially ANY typing easier, even just entering a search term on the web, or filling a form.

If I'm reclining in the LaZBoy, the case's keyboard is sufficiently inconvenient that I only use it for editing/trimming mail messages when I'm replying to them; I often with trim that way, then switch back to the screen keyboard for the actual typing.

If I were typing more than a couple of sentences, I'll definitely use the case's keyboard.

It's nice having options.
