Why not get a wireless keyboard? Some like them, some don't. I prefer the iPad's keyboard, but my coworker loves her keyboard/case for hers.

Not to stress the negative, but the screen KBD is just too limiting, especially trying to edit errors.
I've been using 'dictation; and that sometimes results in errors and so does typing. Actually I make fewer errors typing on the screen KBD because these days I hat a lot of wrong key. Either way I can't place the cursor for editing with any degree of precision, especially within a word. I with the KBD had arrow keys so I could move around once I've placed the cursor somewhere.
On a positive note with the two books my daughter got for me I've figured out a lot of things.
