Delete and re-add the account. Had to do it last week. With just about the same problem but on all emails.

got an iphone5s about a month ago...i can send a photo in "mail" but when i try to send a photo in "message," the progress bar goes about 95 percent, stalls and then i get the "not delivered" error..."try again" does not work...power down does not fix it...messages without photo transmit fine...apple support suggested before i try to send a photo in "message" again i do this:
