Your mail service account seems to have an upper limit on size of attachment it permits.

In Yahoo, it is 25 MB.

Images, especially those taken by iPad camera normally exceed this.

In such cases, you may not be able to send it as an attachment.

got an iphone5s about a month ago...i can send a photo in "mail" but when i try to send a photo in "message," the progress bar goes about 95 percent, stalls and then i get the "not delivered" error..."try again" does not work...power down does not fix it...messages without photo transmit fine...apple support suggested before i try to send a photo in "message" again i do this:
