How can I remove apps from iTunes that I no longer need or want.  I want to make the app list in iTunes shorter by removing apps that are not on my iPad.

A page in Apple Help said to highlight the app and hit delete.  That did not work.

Well, what works for me is to highlight the App in iTunes and press <Delete>…




I am running iTunes 11.2.2 (3) 64 bit on an iMac.

I am running iTunes 11.2.2 (3) 64 bit on a Macbook Pro (running MacOS 10.9.4)
