Can someone tell me what's going on/what might have happened. This evening when I tried to switch on my iPad it didn't start up like it should. I guessed the battery was unexpectedly low so plugged in the mains lead, but all I got was a black screen with big empty battery symbol with a few red lines at one end. When I unplugged the lead it displayed a symbol which I guess means "plug me back in to the mains". After approx 10 mins I have got my usual startup picture with 2% battery then I have to type in my passcode. Battery gradually charging.
I guess the battery ran flat but I'm sure it had at least 50%. It is possible tho that I didn't switch it right off this morning and the battery ran down over a twelve hour period – this possible?
