Re: [iPad] Pink. Screen revisited

Good news about your screen. Let's hope Sandy either slows down or hurries up so it doesn't come ashore during high tide. It will create havoc somewhere but exactly where, who knows. It has not been too bad here in coastal NC.

I wrote in a couple of weeks ago about my iPad 2 screen turning pink when I used it via 3G in the car. We've been traveling the whole time so ivebeen able to see what happens indoors with wifi. The pink seems to be an automatic brightness adjustment or maybe an optical illusion. Indoors the screen looks normal. At least so far. Whew!

Hurricane Sandy has put an end to the last third of our trip which was to have taken us up the seaboard with stops in DC, Philly and NYC. We extended our three days in Savannah to five instead. Today we drive to Charlotte NC to wait out the storm for a couple more days before (hopefully) heading back home to Vermont.

Good luck to all of you in the path of this storm. I hope they're wrong about its move inland. After seeing thedestruction Irene brought to Vermont, i shudder to thinking what this one might do.
