Just heard that one family decided to stay because last year during hurricane Irene, they evacuated, but when they came back, found out that their house had been robbed. But they stuck it out this time, and in the aftermath, the 13 year old daughter died, the mother is now in critical condition, and the father has not been found yet. So sad. So preventable.
