You are welcome, Tonya!  I hope it helps!  Sometimes the really simple things actually ARE the best ones.  Just consider the following:  we are told—and this comes from many sources—that we should drink 8 glasses of water a day (something that I, personally, never manage to do, although I try);  any time anyone is in any kind of trouble or is upset in a stressful situation, somebody often comes along and offers them a glass of water.  It seems to me that we turn to water because we instinctively know that it is good for us.  That might explain why nobody bothers to write or talk about it—it is just a "given."  But when you think about it, it makes sense.  I have seen kittens and cats in BIG TROUBLE when they are dehydrated.  One of the first things I do if a kitten seems "off" somehow is to give it an injection (under the skin) of Ringer or a similar solution, just to get some needed liquids into the little body.  It usually works wonders, depending on what's wrong with the kitten.  (Notice how we always end up talking about cats on this list!  LOL)

Hope you and your daughter see some improvement every day!!  Thinking of Jim's saying that every day gets better and better.

Carlee

I can't begin to imagine what it must be like, but you are doing a wonderful thing for your daughter, and I was so glad to see a post from you this morning.  Hang in there, Tonya, and please keep us updated.  I'm sure I'm speaking for many when I say we all care and wish you the very best. This may sound odd, but I know from experience that it helps:  when you think you can't stand another minute, go drink a HUGE glass of water.  Keeping the body hydrated in times of stress helps the mind and spirit, too.  My thoughts and prayers go with you,

Carlee

Detox of suboxone can be gnarley. Ambien. I think they use another benzo in rehab. My prayers are with you. I may be wrong on ambien being a benzo. But iirc the rehab here uses Librium. Be slow. Be patient. My line is open too. Anytime day or night. Contact me offlist if need be. Iirc it was a five day ween off Librium. Slowly down stepping to none.
