Re: [iPad] iPad Mini

Lol not doing video editing or gaming means that means nothing to me. Truth be told my 2009 mini is good enough. It does photoshop and indesign and dreamweaver. That said it has an intel graphics card. Which is plenty fine for streaming video to my Apple TV and everything else I would throw at it.

It will be screaming because it doesn't have a video card. Poor little Mac Mini.

As much as I LOVE the new iMac I spec'd out a Mac mini. For $1100 I can get a screaming mini. 16gb ram. Etc

I'm really drooling over the iMac myself.  Be sure to let us know what you think of the Fusion Drive after you have the devices in your store.

Well, they got one from me, because it's smaller, lighter and will fit in my (not very large) purse!

It only makes sense because people claim they need that form factor. It's a book sized vs a magazine sized apparatus. I wonder how many preorders they'll get?

I've not figured out what it's for.  Too big to hold comfortably in one hand and too small to use as a substitute iPad.  I think Jobs was probably right - it doesn't make sense.

Thought of buying one just to get the feel of it, but with new iPads and iPods in the store soon, spending $400 for a "maybe" experiment seems wasteful.
