I had the good fortune to play in a band at a birthday party for Grace
Hopper, somewhere in her mid 80s, a year or two before she died. I was
in awe, watching her, thinking of all she had done for the world of
computing, and amazingly I was the only person in the 17 piece band who
had any clue who she was other than a retired naval officer.
