Re: [iPad] OT 100 Years Tarzan

As a kid I read other series of Boroughs books, Pellucidar and John Carter on Mars. I can still read the latter volumes with pleasure. A feature film, John Carter, will be released this year. I don't want to replace my mental images of the various colored men and women of Mars with those of the movie-maker, so don't plan to see it.

Several free ones can be obtained from iBooks. Others are available at Project Gutenberg and Australian Project Gutenberg.

I am a big Tarzan fan. I have seen all the movies and I am slowly working my way through all the books. Funny story, many years ago I watched a Tarzan marathon on TV and the cockatiel I had at the time started mimicking the trumpeting of the elephants, the sounds the monkey's make, as well as Tarzan's call. He would walk around the house just making these sounds.
