Re: [iPad] Getting Video Off Of iPad

Does the dropbox check the content of the file and see if it matches the the extension?
I have 419MB file in dropbox. It is pdf file but what happens if I rename a mp4 file extension as pdf and upload it?
Just curious.

Splitting the file using hjsplit and joining using the same, after dowloading at the other end, is the standard method in Windows.
hjsplit is a very old utility in DOS/windows.
Guess some one could develop a similar one for iOS too.

Dropbox won't allow uploads of video files that are bigger than 180MB, which is not very big.

He can upload to YouTube as a private video. Create a YouTube account that you to can share. Limitation of length is the concern here instead of file size.

The iPad is his only computer...he doesn't have another one. He can email me small clips from his videos, but they're greatly reduced in quality. How can we get the higher quality videos off his iPad and into my computer? Is email the only answer?
