And yes, I remember Chekov having trouble with his Russian accent to the AI on Star Trek.
I have fun with a colleague at work from Boston. He has been out here for a long time, but sometimes reverts from "Parking my car at Harvard Yard..." To "Pah-king ma cah at Hah-vahd Yahd". Usually (USUALLY! Siri gets it either time, but other times she's like: "John, I do not understand what you are saying." John gets flustered, especially when he is trying to get Siri to do something when a customer is around. HA! I swear, she (it) is doing that on purpose.
