I've taken to calling the Pekes Tribble-dogs.
Some of SIL's, at least, (out of, I think last count was 8) are
perfectly happy to sit in aged-parent's lap as long as it's there,
& they all have a lovely time on those visits!
I enjoy getting my fur-therapy ("dogga-therapy" -- so much more fun than
sneezifying "aromatherapy"!) on my neighborhood strolls; I pay the providers
directly with Alpo Crackers.
But if I were to get another dog, I'd get some sort of terrier/mix from a
shelter -- I guess I like the terrier look, and I must be a glutton for
punishment/butting heads given their...strong-mindedness...I had two
Cairns....
