I think health insurance should help us pay for our pet's care. The benefits of having pets are shown to offer some nice perks in improved BP, keeping someone calmer, Heck, MY poms wake me when I have a low blood glucose(!!) so I call them 'My little EMS Team'.
Pets+iPads+apps=Better lifestyle in many ways.

I've taken to calling the Pekes Tribble-dogs.
Some of SIL's, at least, (out of, I think last count was 8) are
perfectly happy to sit in aged-parent's lap as long as it's there,
& they all have a lovely time on those visits!
I enjoy getting my fur-therapy ("dogga-therapy" -- so much more fun than
sneezifying "aromatherapy"!) on my neighborhood strolls; I pay the providers
directly with Alpo Crackers.
But if I were to get another dog, I'd get some sort of terrier/mix from a
shelter -- I guess I like the terrier look, and I must be a glutton for
punishment/butting heads given their...strong-mindedness...I had two
Cairns....
