Gotcha! Thanks folks.
I had not clicked on my wife's "IPad Device". Doing that introduced a new line of tab like menu selections and there was "Photos". That is how I would have shared some photo folders in the first place however the screen that is presented is the same one that appears in 'Advanced' menu > 'Choose Photos to Share' tab and I thought that was the menu I used.
