[iPad] Past enteries & events disappearing in Calendar app

 

Hi Group,
Is anyone else having issues with entries disappearing from their calendar app?
The original app as supplied with the ipad2
I have gone back into last years calendar and the enteries have vanished.
I have backed up to iCloud, and they have not reappeared.
