After over two years of being blown off by my principal regarding how much better iPads would be than the big 15" $1200 Window$ laptops, I got my inclusion co-teacher to send him an email about how they would really help with the Special Ed. students. Combined with the school being under improvement, he is suddenly very interested.
He has assigned her to collect any/all data that would support him asking for them.
