Hi Deanna,
I believe that the Wordpress App is just for adding content, not for accessing the back end of your wordpress site.
However, I just learned that you can enable accessibility mode in order to manipulate the widgets from your browser without drag and drop. From the Widget screen, select "Screen Options" in the upper right corner. Then select "Enable accessibility mode". You will now be able to add and edit widgets using links and menus instead of drag and drop.
Hope that helps!

Hi! I'm setting up a WordPress.org blog using my iPad and have run
into a "roadblock":
Drag widgets from here to a sidebar on the right to activate them.
Drag widgets back here to deactivate them and delete their settings.
Unfortunately, dragging does not seem possible on the iPad. Does
anyone know a work around? My kids have taken over my laptop, but if
I have to kick them off it... ;)
Thanks!,
Deanna M.
