I jailbreak to customize my ipad.
There are lots of tweaks that even Apple import some features to ios 5 beta 2 from the jailbreak community. So its to open your mind, or your ipad.
I get the questions a lot and its better to show what an ipad 2 jailbreak looks like with features that you like, or need.
One thing I like is to show my calendars in the lock screen so I don't have to open my calendar. I just open my smart cover and I can see all my plans for the week instantly.
There are other features that I like to customize, it all depends what you use your ipad for. If its just games, I wouldn't need to jailbreak unless if you want to download paid games for free (not recommended).
But there are people out there who prefer to jailbreak to download free games. Hard work for the programmers taken advantage of without consideration.
I love my ipad 2 more now since its more open to customization.
