I'm replying to a really old post - sorry - but my ipad was filled up with music when I hadn't checked music to add, and it turned out that there was a check on a "fill with music" option after everything else was done - sorry I can't tell you where it was, but when I found it and unchecked it I had TONS of room left over.

I just got my ipad 2 (yay!!) Getting everything over into the ipad 2 from my ipad 1 was flawless, but I've hit a glitch.
No matter what I uncheck, itunes is transferring the holiday music and other music I don't have checked into my ipad 2.
I've gone through the library and playlists and there is absolutely no holiday music checked, but somehow it is ending up on my ipad 2.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
