It's happened to me a few times in a hot car. I would power off. Remove it from the case. And cool it with air or shade. Then power it back up.

My iOS devices have shown that temperature warning when left in direct sunlight coming through a window.Pat
Sent from my iPad Air2Hi, I have an iPad3. Every once in a while I see a warning that says "Temperature. iPad must cool down before using it."
Also, the last time I hooked up my iPad to listen to music, my car's USB system didn't recognize it. Although it did recognize my iPod.
Has anybody else had these things happen?
Thanks.
