Re: [iPad] Ios9

They changing of the letters in the keys is a nice touch and visually easier to see

I am sitting at my Macbook Pro right now, typing on its keyboard.

The shift key works to produce UPPER CASE only if one of my fingers is resting on it — so I obviously know that it is being pressed as I type the text.

The Caps Lock key LIGHTS UP when active.

The virtual keyboard on the iPad responds in neither of these ways.
Normally, I tap the <Shift> key, then the letter I want capitalized.
Now, when I do that, the virtual key I'm tapping is displayed in upper case rather than lower.
