Cool trick. That may have been an easier way. I option clicked iTunes and created a new library file. Then said that my last media hd was where the media should go you know tight where the info is and it re added all the files. Then all I had to do was tell it the audiobooks were audiobooks not music and tv shows were tv shows not movies and I was off and running :)

My files never moved. The hard drive is the same one. The hope is that if I export the playlist tile then import it that the pointers will still be in tact.
