Re: [iPad] Is Apple About To Release A New iPad Mini Or Kill The Line Entirely?

2 days battery life normal usage? Sold. Right there. Sold.

One handed. Yea I like using it one handed. I don't always but I do enough for it to be a factor but it seems like if the plus prohibits this that the non plus will not buy I'm just going by interet comparison photos and not in real life. That's what the store would help to let me see :)

So now I wonder how the battery life on the ax compares. I can't wait to see if we can get them.

That said. Anecdotally on the sprint cdma network iPhones seem to have the most issues with  weird stuff. But it's usually easily fixed. That said. I won't be using it on sprint network.

I have had a 6+ for 2-3 weeks now.
I'm 6' tall, with hands that my piano teacher in my youth really envied (very large key-span).

I specifically chose the 6+ because I have been a photographer since 1958, and this is the only iPhone (and possibly the only smartphone) with *optical* image stabilization. Also the Retina-HD screen does a native 1920x1080 "full HD" display. And 240 fps video.

And, WOW!, the battery life! Typically, 2 days of normal use with no recharging. I will normally plug it in to my Macbook Pro in the evening when I'm sitting there anyway, so I start the night with it at 100%. Because I run a sleep monitor app all night, *without the iPhone being plugged in*!

The difficulty of using it one-handed doesn't bother me because I have NEVER used my iPhones one-handed. If you're used to doing that, it may be a deal-breaker.

I am getting used to it, but it still seems large, even to me. If those features were available on the 6, I would probably prefer it.

I *LIKED* the thick, slightly curved back of the 3G/3GS, that fit *solidly* in my palm, and thought that the 4/4S, with glass front and back, and "sharp" edges, was a bad idea. I think a 6S made thicker by having more battery, and, being thicker, having more room for camera improvements like OIS – THAT would be a choice device.
