Sorry, I should have given more information.
Using my iPad Air, I copied photos with permission from FB. Thus, the photos reside on my Camera Roll and Photo Stream. I then made a folder called "Grooming" and moved the photos to that folder. But only a copy goes, and the original photos are still on the Camera Roll and Photo Stream. I really don't want the grooming photos mixed up with my personal photos.
So if I delete the photos from the Camera Roll and Photo Stream, will they, by default, be gone from the Grooming folder also? They would be difficult to find again to recopy.
