It also has a much bigger battery, the camera has some enhancements that are not on the 6, and the iOS8 version for the 6 Plus allows the Homescreen to go landscape. Also, which I like is the mail app has the side pane, just like the iPad mail app. You can double tap the Home button to go to one handed mode, which is only the bottom half of the screen is used, I cannot see the point in that.

I'm afraid I'm tempted, Pat!  The online shop I now and then order things from sent an e-mail saying that they want to be the first to offer the new iPhone 6 to their customers and had a form to fill out if you wanted to be registered with them, so I did that.  If they really do get the iPhones sooner than other places, at least I may have a good chance to get one.  I'm also going to check out the Apple online shop to see what they are saying.  I think I'll go for the iPhone 6 Plus.  You, too? 
 
And I'm definitely tempted by the Apple Watch.  Budget-wise, I'm just glad they won't both be coming out at the same time!  <happy.gif>

The iPhone6 is a definite "yes"; I will try to order at midnight on Friday!  I don't know about the watch until I see one.  My eyesight is not the best & I haven't worn a watch in years.  It will be surprisingly if I'm not tempted though!  How about you?
