Re: [iPad] Apple iPhone Announcement Wallpaper

I am sure it will be. Apple's Airplay is very capable with HD over wifi, so I expect no less capability to relay an audio feed. However you would have thought they would have a new feature somewhat going ok.. Especially network speed as thats nothing new

Since I'm beta testing iOS 8 and the public version of Yosemite, I tried out the feature of letting my MBA pick up the call. Not good. There was a delay before the call came to my
MBA and the call cut in and out. I hope it gets fixed before release.

"iPad and Mac, now answering the call.

Sometimes when your iPhone rings, it's not where you are. Maybe it's charging in another room. Or it's buried in your backpack. But your Mac or iPad is sitting right there. Now you can make and receive phone calls on those devices as long as your iPhone running iOS 8 is on the same Wi-Fi network. Incoming calls show the caller's name, number, and profile picture. Just click or swipe the notification to answer, ignore, or respond with a quick message. And making a phone call from your iPad or Mac is just as easy. Simply tap or click a phone number in Contacts, Calendar, or Safari. It all works with your existing iPhone number, so there's nothing to set up."

So, whose keen on an iPhone 6?

After many screen size rants over the years, I will wait. Concerned over issues, albeit rumoured. Concerned over the form factor IF Apple keeps the same size home button and the need to keep top and bottom bezel the same size.

I wil consider maybe after a few weeks.

MUCH more interested in iOS8 and Yosemite!

[iPad] Header Complaint

Ok folks, I have to make a complaint here. What happened to message headers? I was reading the thread about iPhone 6 and the headers didn't tell me who wrote replies. I looked for signatures at the bottom of the responses. Quite a few didn't have signatures. My iPhone, iPad and Macs are all set up with automatic signatures that are at the bottom of my emails. Either Yahoo did something or signatures need to be at the bottom of our emails.

Re: [iPad] Apple iPhone Announcement Wallpaper

Same here!   iPhone 4,4S,5,5S  but I am tiring of that now. I will see if I have an itch to scratch a few weeks after release. Or after the alleged 5.5 is out. I'd like to make the next iPhone a longer term keeper, I need to know if the larger screen models have any version 1.0 gremlins

I plan to get an iPhone6 as soon as they are available because I'm one of those nuts that thinks he has to have every new Apple product!

Re: [iPad] CAMER ON iPAD

You drag 'up & down' on the iPad regardless of orientation.

Just clarify for Jim, if the phone is in portrait mode or upright, you slide the Photo/Video/Square etc left or right. If the phone is held in landscape (sideways) you slide up or down

When you for open the Camera app, you will see a dot next to photo.  That dot doesn't move, but the 3 words next to it do move, when you place your finger on them and slide up or down.  So slide your finger down, to switch to video.

I don't care about Square but when I try to go to Video nothing happens. I don't think that i's my touch because touching camera and the photo button work fine. I've had this problem since I got my iPad Air.

Much better stated than my post!

I gather from Jims question, that he is trying to touch to select rather then dragging
