The reason I said I did not think history and geography are taught comes from readings. I regret that I have not kept the information to give you citations. More than one report was based on questions asked college Freshman. How those people graduated high school is beyond me. Don't know where countries are located; no idea that Canada and Mexico are in North America; Brazil is in Africa; lack of knowledge of the Declaration and the Constitution; could not name our Founding Fathers and it continues.
